Nitec's environmental commitments are achieved through the company’s Environment Management Policy which is fully integrated with ISO14001:2015.

The defined scope of the Environmental Management System for Nitec (UK) is: The management of hazards, risks and associated environmental impacts with conducting business activities at Hardwick House, Hardwick View Rd, Holmewood, Chesterfield, S42 5SA including the application of electo and electroless plating and associated metal treatment processes. The testing of micro hardness, phosphorous content, diffusion layer and plating thickness of plated products upon this site.

Nitec (UK) Ltd has committed to recognising, reducing & preventing any environmental impacts directly related to the business, where reasonably practicable within the context of the organisation.

Progress towards the company's objectives is achieved through continued planning, monitoring, reviewing and improvement of the significant environmental aspects and impacts.

Nitec is committed to protect the environment, including prevention of pollution from our processing and storage. Nitec is committed to reduce the use of non-renewable resources while also reducing the amount of waste produced by its operations.

Nitec has a legal responsibility to comply with regulatory and statutory requirements and will facilitate these requirements by training and resources wherever necessary. This is managed by the Environment Management System.

Implementation of the policy is achieved through communication to employees and involvement and training of employees, in the aims, objectives & rationale of the Environmental Management System.
